General information

The Foundation there for you is committed to a more sustainable, fairer and better world. It supports projects and organisations with similar goals and also lends a hand itself. The aim is to bring about positive change in the world by bringing people together to do good together. They want to make engagement as easy as possible, for their own projects or in support of other impactful projects. 

Beneficiaries

Donation platform "there for you":
The digital donation platform there for you was launched in the year 2020 and since then has already funded over 140 projects in almost 50 countries worldwide. The platform focuses on the areas climate, animals and people.

Own project "there for trees":
The aim is to inspire the younger generation for nature and the environment and promote awareness of this. In doing so, they become active themselves and take the knowledge with them on their journey through life. The forestry missions take place throughout German- and French-speaking Switzerland.

Project-support

Project: there for trees, Canton Zug

Together with the Zug Office for Forests and Wildlife, schoolchildren experience an unforgettable experience in nature and at the same time deal with the great challenges of our time: climate change and species loss.

The schoolchildren are accompanied by local forest rangers and by individuals of the Foundation there for you. After a short introduction, the girls and boys get active themselves and plant trees, build wildlife protection structures, or uproot unwanted neophytes. Depending on the age group, forest-related content is also taught in a playful way. The children also gain an insight into the work of the forestry office. The forest rangers present their activities and tasks, and raise awareness of the forest ecosystem.

The there for trees project combines the experience of nature with the promotion of environmental protection in an innovative way. Pupils actively immerse themselves in the world of the forest and get involved in biodiversity and climate protection. Teachers are provided with documents to deal with the topic of forest use in the classroom. The project allows children to combine theory with practice.

In addition, their social skills are strengthened through close cooperation with the local forestry office and other project participants. During the joint activities, the students rely on teamwork, communication, decision-making, conflict resolution, and learn how to deal with new tasks. These social skills are not only important in the context of environmental protection, but also for their personal and professional future.
